Starting the company from it first day with just myself working one venue one night a week I was able to build my client base and within 8 months was the largest supplier of security teams to the entertainment industry in Herefordshire and worked with a large entertainment operator working in the F1 industry to provide bespoke security teams for their clients and VIP/Celebrity guests. Keeping control of business expenditure, ensuring it's within agreed budgets.Recruited to this role at a design concept stage I worked with the Managing Director to open the state of the art training facility with over 400 members. During this time I also became a fully qualified Level 3 Advanced Personal Trainer with particular specialty in martial arts training and nutritional advice. Working with clients to achieve their fitness goals by • Meeting with new clients to discuss their training goals • Building training plans with clients that they will both enjoy and achieve through SMART objective setting that are unique to each client • Provide advice and motivation to support all clients • Building succession planning into training plans • Develop and present group exercise classes to groups of up to 40 clients • Monitor client results using agreed key performance indicators • Provide honest feedback to client to both motivate and encourage • Provide feedback to the companies on potential new revenue opportunities • Increase the client base to achieve a profitable area of revenue Key achievements within role • As a new business venture I had to recruit and develop a whole new team of fitness professionals. During the interview process I identified a candidate with all the potential to work within the industry but without the relevant qualification. Using an apprenticeship scheme I was able to work with him and as a mentor to become an exceptional trainer. It is with great pride that we are still in contact and he is now Club Manager of the site • Increased sales from 0 to over 400 in 6 months by training and developing team members in effective sales techniques. Proactively sell all products Delivering team and individual sales strategy, key objectives and financial targets on a monthly basis. Report on team and individual KPI's to Senior Management Team and Directors on a weekly and monthly basis. Assist and increase with cross selling of other products within the business such VoIP, IOT and Fixed Lines. Prospect businesses, generate cold calling lists and find new business. Develop sales strategy's to increase company presence across the UK. Ensure that all sales conversations and transactions are recorded on our CRM system. To attend outbound site and sales visits to businesses and networking events when and where required. Attend all necessary weekly/monthly meetings and ensure where appropriate all reports are administered accurately and to agreed timelines. Works collaboratively with other members of the Management Board within the business ensuring standards are consistent throughout and working relationships are kept positive at all times. During this role I worked with all aspect of the business to support the business to bring new products to the market whilst supporting the sales team with training and new sales presentations. During this role I became a proxy Product Manager, Trainer and first line Support for the service whilst still providing proactive client management activities to our client base. This was achieved by Project management and implementation of the Cashless product, identifying and working with key decision makers to achieve a timely go live date Working closely with Regional Development Managers and Client Managers to support them in building our client base Key achievements within role • Working with internal teams to build the number of clients from 6 to over 70 • During a contract negotiation and restructuring within the company I led, and secured the business of 56 schools with Luton Borough Council worth over £200,000 • Developed the training material and content for client training sessions and the new Account Management team. Working at Hereford Leisure Pool from an entry position role; with hard work, personal development and a commitment to improvement was promoted to the role of Senior Duty Manager responsible for operational control of the leisure facility and the direction of the Duty Management Team.
