But even in industries thought to be less hazardous than aviation, the impact of neglecting the safety aspects of any job can be major. A second part includes thorough training of personnel to ultimately prevent injury. My top skills include establishing production plans, guidelines and coaching team members. I’m best known for meeting goals through planning, team building and supervision. My job involves managing the maintenance of aircraft to ensure the aircraft are safe for flight. I have spent countless hours ensuring all maintenance processes are conducted according to appropriate publications and that every flight is executed on time and safely. Working safely in a high tech environment can be especially tricky! If we want to increase profits, reduce costs and improve quality, safety has to be a top priority. Successful companies have put safety in a proactive stance instead of remaining reactive. I believe this is how product quality improves, innovation flourishes and profits soar.
