  I started my career as someone who knew a bit about everything. From Marketing and Operations to Technology Development and Finance. This was driven by my inquisitive problem solving nature and always wanting to learn, which I continue to this day. There is always a book I am reading, a webinar I am watching or a mentor I am talking to. As I have grown in my career, from first working as a Marketing Coordinator at a start-up, I have never shied away from a challenge or the impossible project. In fact, that drives me and has an allure I am drawn to. I want to work with the teams, the technologies and the processes to find that solution that can meet the organization’s needs, but within the timeframe and constraints that (we all know) exist. This has included working for small start-ups where this idea is the foundation of the whole business, but they just need the person to make the idea work on shoe-string budget. But I also have experience working with organizations with 10,000+ employees and have large budgets and multiple stakeholders. And, of course, despite the budgets and schedules, there is also the personalities of the teams! I enjoy working with all different types of people, from a junior employee starting their first job to having a roundtable discussion with the C-Level on how to improve their business. Now I understand far more then when I started my career, and understand how Marketing, Sales, Service and Commerce all interact, and what has worked and what hasn't worked for other organizations. But I am still wanting to learn more! Given my experience not only working in select organizations, but as a Consultant, I have had the opportunity to see how over a hundred organizations work across a multitude of industries, and what has been wildly successful to what has been a failure, and ensuring that everyone learns from both of those outcomes. I also enjoy volunteering and have been mentor to employees, a mentor to a "little brother", and also lead a number of strata councils. And all of these I have enjoyed as I am helping people grow as a group to common goal. My journey to where I am now has been winding, and definitely has had its challenges and successes, but I have always persevered to ensure that the goal we hoped to achieve is implemented!
