Infarm needed to initiate UK operations and open additional facilities to support international expansion. As Country Manager and Director, I led launch of vertically farmed fresh herbs and salads UK business. I recruited new teams from scratch, implemented operations for new production facilities and launched >30 products to market. Succeeded initiating second operation, one of the largest vertical farms in Europe at 100k sq ft. As an SLT member, I shaped the wider operations function as the business grew across 10 countries and was personally involved in the scale-up of Operations in 3 geographical Regions. Infarm needed new leader for North America region. As Senior Director of Operations, I took full regional P&L accountability. I led 8 Regional Managers, 6 Site Managers and 270 staff across 6 Production facilities and 150 Field stores in NA and UK. I instigated culture change in Regional team to be on site more often / put colleagues and customers identify process improvements. In first 3 months identified 700k savings, reduced product overproduction by 5% and delivered 25% company revenue from 20% total production.
