Jeremy Neill’s Expertise I received my Ph.D. in World History from Northeastern University in 2004, after which I took a job in Silicon Valley as Assistant professor of History at Menlo College. I taught there for eight years, developed a more global-focused curriculum while continuing to research, write and present on issues of gender and imperialism. Looking for a career change out of academia, I have now moved on to become part of the team working on the Advanced Placement World, Advanced Placement Euro, and other history exams for Educational Testing Service in Princeton, NJ, including work on the SAT subject test, Praxis teacher licensure exams, and the HEIghten higher education assessment suite. In 2019 I began work on developing the PreAP formative assessments in World History, and in the winter of 2020 became the development coordinator for the College Level Exam Program (CLEP). In summer of 2022 I moved over to the College Board to become the Director of Advanced Placement European History. Specialties: World History, British Empire, Gender, Cinema Studies
