It enables me to use an Object Oriented technique to develop initial and elaborated Requirements through to Domains and Use Cases, and to reconcile and rationalise these with each other. Visualisation is essential to me, both in analysis and communication. However, as the audience for business diagrams will often be unfamiliar with any of the Business Process Model & Notation (BPMN) schools, I try to avoid specialised notations in favour of an informal picture that tells a story.
