I define life cycle to include everything from the initial discussions and demos through contract negotiations, development, testing and delivery, end-user change management, management of internal teams, support and long-term relationship maintenance. In my career, I've worked in Management, Sales, Project Management (PMP certified), consulting, development (C++, VB, SQL, Smallworld Magik, others), delivery/builds, project closeout (testing/bug fix/acceptance), end user support and training. These experiences have often allowed me to act as a one-stop shop for products that I own or support. It also allows me to leverage my experiences to learn new products pretty rapidly. Once I get up to speed and am assigned a team, it often gives them an extra level of comfort knowing they can bounce ideas and questions off me concerning almost any aspect of the process. With new products and processes, these experiences allow me to hit the ground running and get up to speed faster than most.
