Started young, burned out early. I still keep those knives fairly sharp, but mostly build tools and apps for myself -- home automation, music stuff, crypto stuff, simulations, etc. Learning Rust has been awesome -- I've always been a big fan of managing ROI/TCO by building things right the first time, and Rust basically forces you to. I also play with Max MSP + Jitter, Processing for fun & making multi-disciplinary art. In what seems like prehistoric times... I studied accounting and became a management accountant, controller, and CFO before i was 21 years old. Decided I liked the tech better than the accounting, moved from NY to CO and found a job building financial software, did that for about 7 yrs before embarking on a music career.
