  I have been working on antenna design since 2012 when I was involved in a master-doctor combined program at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC). My first research topic was the design of miniaturized and tunable phase shifters and power dividers using composite right/left-handed (CRLH) transmission lines for antenna feeding networks. From 2014 to 2017, I was focusing on the research of reconfigurable antennas. I have designed a 360 deg beam sweeping antenna for WiFi applications, a dual-band frequency tunning antenna for VHF communications, a frequency and polarization reconfigurable antenna for GPS applications, a beamwidth tunable antenna and a triband-shared aperture antenna both for handheld devices. From 2017 to 2020, I was pursuing my Ph.D. degree at Aalborg University in Denmark. My research is about mm-wave antenna design for 5G mobile terminals and base stations. In particular, I have designed two 3D radiation pattern reconfigurable phased arrays and two dual-polarized phased arrays for mobile terminals, one mm-wave/sub-6 GHz shared aperture antenna array for massive MIMO base stations. Since 2020, I was hired as a research assistant and postdoc at Aalborg University. I continued the research of shared aperture antenna for massive MIMO. Meanwhile, I started working on a new research topic about antenna design with machine learning-based optimization. The method has been applied on a design of zero clearance antenna array at mm-wave band for 5G mobile terminals.
