John Adamczyk’s Expertise I have extensive experience of information technology management, interoperability requirements and employment of Computer Information Systems (CIS) at the tactical, operational and strategic levels. Currently I am the Branch Head responsible for outlining the Division C3 (Command, Control, and Communications) requirements leading up to yearly NATO exercises and all High Readiness Deployments for the Canadian Armed Forces. In this capacity I am involved in many Working Groups and Project Teams responsible for identifying emerging and future capabilities required to meet Canada's objectives and briefing senior level management (Major-Generals) to gain their support on best practices to move forward. As the Head of Operations for Sector ISAF (NCI Agency), I gained experience in multi-national operations and the complex communication contingency planning required for NATO operations. As the Commander for Network Support Group for NCI Agency, Sector Mons, I developed a deep knowledge on the processes with regard to Change Management and the inter-relationships and complexities of problem solving in a multi-national environment. My employment as Branch Head (Chief Information Officer) at Canada's Royal Military College gave me the opportunity to successfully upgrade the university's infrastructure with new technologies such as virtualization, voice over IP, thin-clients and Wi-Fi. As an Army staff officer I was responsible for life cycle and management of Army equipment, giving me extensive knowledge of budgetary and fleet management issues. My Command of the Canadian Signal Squadron in RC South for ISAF resulted in the successful employment of the first digitized Army network on operations and earned me the prestigious Chief of Defence Staff Commendation. I believe that you will find my experience and qualifications meet the requirements of a CIS position and I hope will warrant further consideration. I can be reached via my email account ([email protected])
