As my general industry knowledge increased I started working as a Construction Quality Control Manager on Military projects and large Infrastructure projects(1985-1997 ) July 1997 I was introduced to several managers at Douglas E. Barnhart while working on the Lindberg Field(San Diego Int'l Airport) project for Kiewit. I moved from Kiewit to Barnhart at the San Diego Airport project, and have been with the firm since then (1997) While at Barnhart I continued my growth and experience and transitioned into projects as a Superintendent, Construction Manager, QC Manager, and moved back and forth between roles as staff needs became available. Balfour Beatty purchased Barnhart Construction in 2009 and I have continued my growth and experience moving back and forth between Superintendent/QC/CM roles as the company needed.As QC Manager for Kiewit at the Lindberg Field/Harbor Drive project. Kiewit was responsible for the modification of the parking areas, the new pedestrian bridge and elevators from the parking area to the terminals, and all the new vehicle bridges from the airport entering and exiting over Harbor Drive. Installation of 60"storm drain infrastructure, new 18"water main extension on Harbor Drive, and new power and gas services coordinated with SDG&E. Balfour Beatty Construction Services US
