In addition, Jon served as the Chair of the Freightway Steering Committee (FSC) from April 2017 to February 2018. The Scarsdale Village Board appointed the FSC to create goals and objectives for the redevelopment of the 2.51 acre Freightway site in Scarsdale. The FSC completed its work and delivered its report to the Scarsdale Village Board in February 2018. In February 2020, Jon was appointed as a member of the Citizens Budget Advisory Committee (CBAC). The CBAC solicits public input on fiscal matters and provides advice and recommendations to the Westchester County Board of Legislators Budget & Appropriations Committee.
