These include 3D videography to track free-flying birds, 3D scanning of bird wings to quantify wing shape, and stable isotope analysis of feather keratin to estimate the dietary and geographic niches of South American ovenbirds (genus Cinclodes) to test a fundamental macroecological hypothesis: Brown’s Resource Breadth Hypothesis.
