  Recently, I graduated from Lake Forest College, Majoring in Business and Minoring in Philosophy. Officially, I have accepted a Universal Banker position at BMO Harris Bank. I worked at Answernet over the summer of 2012. The business is an answering service. So I answered phone calls from other businesses, I took online orders, and took messages for businesses/ organizations as well. I was constantly on the phone. With doing this job, you always had to have a positive attitude because some people were rude and you just had to keep your composure. I really enjoyed working with this company. I am currently working at the Lake Forest College sports center, monitoring the weight room 3 days a week. This is my job during the school year and have been continuing it since my freshman year. This past summer starting in June, I was a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual Mctigue Financial Group in Chicago, IL. One of the main things I did was financial planning. I met with new people everyday and tried to set up a plan to make sure it was beneficial for themselves as well as their family in the near future. I would travel back and forth from Chicago to the suburbs to meet with these people. On the other hand, each of the plans were in regards to life insurance, health insurance, disability insurance, emergency funds, retirement, investments, etc. These type of things helped people tremendously in many cases, whether getting hurt and they can't work to people passing away and being able to provide for their families. I was glad to be a part of a top company in the world and be a part of a top 10 internship in the country. I am part of the lake forest college football team, rugby team, leader of FCA, part of the athletic counsel, and an Athletic Orientation Guide.
