On the campaign trail I lobbied for smart, long-term solution to persistent issues, such as education and infrastructure funding. I spoke often about the need for equality and inclusiveness to take the state into the twenty-first century to appeal to modern technology firms that made a point to highlight these issues. I ran for the same seat in 2016. In June of 2017 I moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I got a job as a clerk at ACME Markets, and soon moved up to Front End Lead, and eventually Person In Charge. I learned how to delegate tasks, resolve customer complaints, and some basics about running a business. I had an active role in setting up promotions and ordering stock and took an interest in learning as many facets of store operations as possible. On the side, I edited foreign-language to English translations of academic articles to ready them for publication in English-language peer-reviewed journals. In 2019 I moved back to Michigan and in 2021 I took on a role as Assistant Customer Service Manager at Kroger. In July of 2022 I moved on to take a job as a Scheduling Specialist at Sparrow Thoracic and Cardiovascular Institute in Lansing.
