  I am currently the R&D Engineering Manager for the Diagnostics Engineering and Production Engineering groups at the Livermore Operations (LO) branch of MSTS supporting the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS). At LO my teams support High Energy Density Experimentation (HEDE) physics diagnostics design, engineering, production, and execution. We execute research and development efforts to support the nuclear needs of the nation in counter proliferation, stockpile stewardship, and testing of our nations nuclear weapons stockpile. I am a nuclear engineer (focus in neutronics) and electrical engineer (focus in photonics & particle accelerators) with over 15 years of engineering experience in nuclear power plants, electrical power systems, instrumentation and control systems, propulsion systems, advanced nuclear reactors, fusion devices, particle accelerators, and R&D. I have operational supervisory (senior reactor operator) and managerial experience (primary investigator) and have held qualifications and licensure (USN, NRC, DOE) on multiple platforms of nuclear reactors (PWR, BWR) and advanced test beds for R&D. I have extensive experience in project and program management specializing in nuclear, R&D projects, and radiological programs. I have successfully managed commercial, quality (ISO17025/ISO9001/AS9100), NDT, and calibration programs and R&D laboratories, as well as compliance and oversight aspects for nuclear operations, radioactive materials, diagnostics engineering, and explosives.
