A marketing change advocate who thrives on jumping in feet first to solve challenging marketing problems by obsessing over the consumer experience with a healthy disrespect for the impossible. My Work: My first 5 years in my career was as an ad agency creative - leading the vision, conception and execution on national advertising campaigns for a host of regional and national brands. For the 3 years following, I worked for a media agency - leading media strategy, analytics, reporting, consumer trends and creative concept development on new and emerging media platforms and technologies, such as: social media, new social platforms and enablement, mobile, gaming, digital music, location-based services, some of the traditional media stuff, and technologies that people didn't know could be a "thing," that are all now considered mainstream media. Since, I've joined Microsoft, working as a global marketing manager for both Xbox and Skype, two of Microsoft's most consumer focused (and passionate) products. Here, I've been able to hone my corporate marketing skills and acumen, defining business opportunities and strategies, translating insights into marketing programs & initiatives, managing multiple projects (almost always) and proactively making things happen. Extra Credit: I was once told by a friend and mentor that marketing is all about being the voice of people. Real people who have wants, quirks and dreams.
