I am a photographer for Clemson's Athletic Department where I take pictures for any and every sports and athletic events. Additionally, I am also currently working for a Clemson based start-up company called Kanga Coolers. At Kanga Coolers my official title is, "Graphic Designer / Social Media Coordinator." In terms of design responsibilities, I help design both retail and custom coolers in multiple different sizes, design advertisements, as well as create various one pager's. However, my responsibilities go much further than this. I assist with marketing, going on photo and video shoots to gather content, branding, product development, running shipping software, and much more. I've gotten to where I am today through my work ethic and first hand experience. I believe the best way to further my photography skills, or any skills for that matter, is through practice and experience by doing things first hand. I have only been working at Kanga since January of 2020, however I have learned more beneficial information in this time than all time combined in a classroom. Rather than designing something in illustrator once or twice a semester, I am not in illustrator designing multiple different things on a daily basis. So much so that I design more in day than I do in an entire semester of class. The skills that I have learned are not limited to Adobe Illustrator either. I have gained an incredible amount of knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Premiere Pro, and much more. I am very passionate about my education, photography, and design work. Overall, I am very passionate about learning. I enjoy the Graphic Communications courses that I take because they often give me the creative freedom to create and design in our assignments. Additionally, I am also very passionate about sports, music, traveling, and the outdoors. I enjoy taking and editing pictures about the things that I am passionate about. Any time I can relate any of the things that I am passionate about to the work that I am creating, I immediately take the opportunity. Kanga Coolers
