The Center was created in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration to promote environmental stewardship and encourage innovative ways to streamline the transportation delivery process. The Center is designed to serve as a resource for transportation professionals seeking technical assistance, training, information exchange, partnership-building opportunities, and quick and easy access to environmental tools. Prior to joining AASHTO I worked 11 years for the DC Department of Energy and Environment in water compliance monitoring and enforcement and most recently served as the Associate Director for Inspection and Enforcement. Prior to my career with the DC Government I was an environmental consultant for 10 years with AECOM in the oil and gas, agriculture, transportation, steel and real estate industries. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science from TCU in Fort Worth, TX. I am a Native Texan, but call DC home and enjoy long trail runs, cycling, Stranger Things, and relaxing with my wife, Rebecca, and our Australian Shephard, Hopper. Aashto
