I have always loved working with my hands and I guess you could say I found my niche when I started working in the bakery department. My assignment was to uphold standards, plan and organize, teach and train associates, empower associates to make informed decisions, recruitment, and provide legendary member service to each member in Sam's Club. I am now one of two Fresh Team Managers who oversees all the aspects of fresh which encompasses bakery, meat, produce, freezer cooler, deli, and prepared foods. I have made a challenge to myself to help cultivate the supervisors who work under me and prepare them to take the next step in their careers to become assistant managers just like my managers did for me when I was in their shoes.
