During my banking career I have had the pleasure of providing training and technical assistance on a variety of issues which impact low resourced individuals and/or communities and have served as a guest speaker and/or panelist for a number of organizations, including: American University’s Washington School of Law, Southeastern University’s School of Entrepreneurship, The DC Chamber of Commerce Business Resource Center, the National Community Investment Fund Annual Development Banking Conference and for a number of other community based organizations. In addition to my career responsibilities, I serve the Greater Washington community directly via my service on various community non-profit boards and working groups including; The Women’s Community Development Corporation (Chair), The WCDC First Corporation (Treasurer), DC REACh (co-chair, alternative credit working group), The Affordable Housing Conference of Montgomery County (board member), Bank on DC (founding member of the working group), and United Communities Against Poverty (board member).
