After opening 3 stores expansion was stalled after the 2008 financial crisis and I became Operations Director of Teknosila and then Divisional Director for Lenta hyper markets the fastest growing food hypermarket business in Russia. I opened around 70 new stores from Smolensk to Tobolsk as well as developing and coaching of many new and young store and regional directors. Previously I was also been engaged as an expert consultant in DIY retail by the EBRD ( European Bank for Reconstruction and Development] Grant Thornton Consultants, and served as a Non Executive Director for a Ukrainian pharmaceutical distributor. Specialties: retail, coaching,service, engagement,strategy. Since retiring to Spain I've started to study Medieval Spanish History, particularly the era of the Moors in Spain.
