In 2008, through tough negotiations with Ministry of the Interior, Kabul Afghanistan and two Afghanistan General Officers, I was able to build an 11 room medical clinic within a newly constructed Shamshad 202 Headquarters Building. My efforts saved US taxpayers 900,000 U.S. dollars. This facility immediately began to treat and serve over 400 hundred local Afghan National Police Officers and thousands of their family members. I was awarded the United States BRONZE STAR MEDAL for my efforts. I have done many extra ordinary things throughout my careers and my TYPE A personality will not allow me to do any less.
