Successful HR executives are true "interdisciplinarians" who see these challenges through multiple lenses and understand how to apply informed decision making to get real results. Tenacious and fearless in driving to their vision, true HR leaders think not only like HR professionals, but also like finance people, data wonks, consultants, techies, and vendor partners, but most importantly, like the very human capital that they are tasked with optimizing. Put simply, the mission is not successful until the workforce demonstrates real measurable results. This has been my story, and transforming workforces is my passion. I enjoy building relationships that inspire ideation on emerging and new innovative ways to engage workforces at the intersection where technology, data, programs and processes come together. Some of the cool projects I've been working on recently have included: - Working with the CHRO in creating and internally selling a host of strategic programs to establish HR as a strategic partner to the C-Suite including succession planning, high-potential employees, performance management, recruiting optimization and compensation management. - Building out the Talent Analytics Function for the firm to capture insights on workforce behaviors and create predictive models to forecast (and act on) future trends. - Creating an employee engagement survey to understand how employees perceive our employment deal and where we have gaps. - Partnering with an external vendor to measure the effectiveness of the HR Function through time studies and cost benchmarking. - Engaging with our finance function to create a enterprise-wide technology strategy and data governance model.
