  I’ve been in Construction since 2004 and I love it. It all started with a material picking and delivering position for an electrical contractor in California. Completing the IBEW apprenticeship and journeying out as an electrician in 2010, I decided I needed more from life and left California to move to Seattle in 2013. Chasing an opportunity South to Portland to be a MEP detailer/modeler and BIM coordinator for an electrical contractor put my foot in the door for a construction management position. An opportunity to manage the modeling and coordination process as a BIM manager for a general contractor in Central Oregon arose and I jumped at it, which led to BIM Manager and subsequently VDC project manager with that same GC. Managing a team of five BIM managers and 6 Reality Capture staff on a 280-acre data center project across 4 buildings simultaneously being constructed. With diversified experience, returning to my friends and family in Seattle while breaking into a larger construction market became the focus. The diverse experience will undoubtedly serve me on a career path to being a general contracting construction project manager by learning the position from the ground up with Lease Crutcher Lewis.
