The managers were trained to use the data base to prepare and correct financial reports based on the data inputted to the system. This helped the budget division to keep track of actual and estimated budget cost elements. All of these operations had to be done in accordance with financial regulations set up by DoD functionals to keep in line with guidelines established in regulations.
