Key methods include socially-responsible human-centred systems methodologies for smart systems deployment in knowledge-based work environments. As a senior academic he has held many professorial positions, including visiting professorships for which he has won several awards. He currently holds professor positions and other faculty positions at the Technical University of Vienna and the Institute of Banking, University College Dublin. He has won the best international lecturer award at the Technical University of Vienna five times. He has over 140 academic publications based upon work with hundreds of organisations, has edited 3 books and numerous book chapters, and has contributed dozens of government, regulator and EU reports and white papers.
