Laurent Prigent’s Expertise I consider that helping companies in a sustainable and responsible development of their activities represents a daily challenge. My first Master's degree, which was specialized in ecological and environmental issues, made me aware of the impacts of pollution. To be more specific, my work at CITEPA and at the French Ministry of Agriculture made me aware of the many variables associated with the assessment of the environmental, economic and social impacts of air pollution. With a second Master's degree, I specialized in sustainable development, a field which interests a growing number of businesses. Concurrently, I worked as an environmental project manager at the headquarters of McDonald’s France. I piloted EcoProgress, the restaurants’ environmental management system and I participated in the CSR annual report. I also coordinated several projects on energy, water and waste management issues. I then joined the headquarters of Mr.Bricolage as a sustainable development project manager to work on the traceability of their wood and wood products. I then worked for different professional organizations. At UMIH, the main professional organization of the HORECA industry, I worked on issues of sustainable development, food safety and prevention of professional risks. At the Union des Industries Textiles (French textile industry's association), I was in charge of CSR issues, from the point of view of the circular economy, environmental labelling and traceability issues. I currently work as Environmental Manager for FIPEC, which represents the paint, coating and varnish industries (SIPEV), the printing ink industry (AFEI), the color industry for art, leisure and education (AFCALE), the glue, adhesive and sealant (AFICAM) and resin industry (SNFORES) in France.
