  I know on a very fundamental level that my personal struggles with addiction and recovery are what make me a perfect fit for Reflections Recovery Center. I will never forget where I came from, and how incredibly hard I have worked to be the person I am today. For that very reason, I respect each person’s own struggles and the path that we all must navigate to become the person we know we can be in life. I have a strong background in marketing and sales, which has also contributed to who I am today. I consider my positive attributes to include self-motivation, resourcefulness, effective communication and strong leadership skills. My current position requires a great deal of multi-tasking, which I thoroughly enjoy. My roles include setting up networking lunches, performing intakes and admissions, and filling in to run groups. I do hope that my passion for my work is obvious to the amazing people I have had the honor to meet, and to those I will meet in the future. I am currently attending Cypress College to become a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor. After completion of this program, I will then pursue certification with CAADAC. On a lighter and more personal note, “Harley” is a big part of what brings joy to my life. My Harley Davidson motorcycle has taken me on many a run where I let everything go and focus only on being in the moment. My dog Harley brings me daily joy with her unlimited love and dedication. Additionally, I find myself grateful each and every day that I somehow ended up living by the beach. The beach, the ocean, the sunrises and sunsets are the perfect forum for me to meditate and connect with my Higher Power. I am absolutely humbled by my work. I am, at every single moment of my life, aware that I would not be where I am without the immense support and help of those who stepped in when I could not help myself.
