I have worked in many areas of the health care profession starting with trauma care at St. Paul Childrens Hospital in Minneapolis MN and ending with elderly and hospice care until the birth of my twin Daughters. I decided to change avenues and started working at a company as a DSP. My position with this company has been one of the most rewarding and fulfilling jobs I have ever had. To help guide and support the clients I work with enables me to help them achieve their goals and insure that they are able to have a more productive independent life. To this day people are so quick to judge a person by the way they walk, talk, and look..Unfortunately, the clients I work with are the ones that are mocked, made fun of, starred at, and more importantly discriminated against. I do what I do in my position to help change the stigma of this cruel world and Give my clients the respect, guidance, and tools they need to be Independent, Employed and living on their own out in the community and receiving the respect that they truly deserve.
