I am constantly looking for ways to improve myself both personally and professionally. Thoughout the past eight years with the Air Force I have achieved many of my set goals. I completed my A.A.S in Contracts Management through the Community College of the Air Force and plan to move for the next level in education upon seperation from Active Duty. I have achieved my Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act Level 1 and 2 certifications through online training and in residence training with Defense Acquisition University. I was also able to achieve the rank of E-5 (Staff Sergeant) and complete leadership and supervisory training through Airman Leadership School provided at Francis E. Warren AFB, WY, where I was awarded the Commandant Leadership Award given to the one Airman that demonstrates the highest leadership traits among their peers and was also a Distinguished Graduate scoring in the top ten percentile. Other accolaides include annual awards and quarterly awards at many levels of competition in the Air Force. Though the Air Force has been a great chapter in my life I am excited to move on to the next chapter as I have accepted the position at Dawson working their new SABER program with Eglin AFB as a Procurement Specialist.
