Marc Jenkinson’s Expertise • Over 20 years’ experience leading and supporting the design, development and implementation of IT systems and networks for major cross-government projects and digital transformation programmes. This includes significant experience in complex technology operational environments. • I’m currently a Solution Architect with the New Zealand Transport Agency. For the past 14 months I’ve been a key member of project and governance teams migrating legacy on-premise applications to the Azure cloud space. I’m now leading resilience testing of migrated cloud applications and am contributing to governance and IT strategy work as a member of the Corporate Cloud Steering Committee. • My experience includes facilitating DIA cloud risk assessments, security risk assessments, data and information management assessments and privacy impact assessments. • As an Infrastructure Architect with Datacom I worked on the Joint Border Management System (JBMS) programme (multi-agency, government priority programme) initially leading the technical environment and then detailed solution design. I also led infrastructure solutioning and support services for the Reserve Bank of NZ’s new payment settlement system. • I have a strong technical background and have built my solutions knowledge from an operational perspective. I have proven experience developing and implementing systems and networks to meet business specifications supported by wide ranging technical expertise, business analysis and project management skills.
