Presently, Mark works at Garmin International as a Software Engineer in Chandler, AZ and is approaching one year. He works on the Flight Management Systems responsible for route navigation, flight planning, calculation of 3D trajectory through airspace and modeling the performance characteristics of the aircraft to determine the speed and climb capability. Here Mark continues to integrate math and physics to predict time of arrival and fuel consumption, takeoff and landing distance and airspeeds, AEO (All Engine's Operating) and OEI (One Engine Inop). Mark has begun to continue his education at Arizona State University as well to obtain a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering.
