Specifics of this have included introducing sustainable asphalt (low temperature) and 3D printed concrete (#3DCP), the key benefits of these have been the very broad. Key target benefits have been aligned with digital delivery, enhanced programme certainty, whole life cost benefits, reduced carbon. All of these are obviously under the banner of sustainable delivery which meets criteria for all key clients in the UK. Additionally I was the chair for the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA) Transport committee s autumn 2018 - 2020. This links contractors of all sizes across the UK and benefits all members through regular interaction with key players across transport clients with a focus on policy changes and future plans.
