Martin Downs’s Expertise I have 20 years of experience in the IT world and specifically the networking field. In my first Job at Chase I started in desktop and after 9 months moved over to the Novell NOC team. From there I assisted in creating a command center wherein all members were trained in Cisco, Microsoft, Novell and various Unix platforms. I was on of a team responsible for troubleshooting and monitoring the entire nationwide network for Chase, doing troubleshooting from end to end. I have since gone from a non-profit company to where I am now at the Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities as the Sr. Network Engineer. Here I have built a VMWare environment from the ground up as well as implementing SAN Solutions, re-engineering the entire WIFI environment with Meraki and Implementing a switchover from standard PBX phone to a pure IP phone network. I am now concentrating on mostly network design, security and capacity management.
