Plenty of firsts. It turns out that being early -- very early -- isn't rewarded. But it's joy-filled. I've entered many literal and metaphoric rooms, and filled 'em with magical experiences. Later I led broadband and wireless global biz dev for a web company, created a successful recruiting business. I've advised and helped fund dozens of businesses, large and small. And I write. Oh yeah, I write. I helped save Africa's elephants, using video, social media and diplomacy. That's a battle that continues. I'm up to my pupik in progressive organizing today. I should say, still.
