  Having been a lifelong Seattleite, I have witnessed the amazing growth this city has experienced, and from an early age I wanted to be part of it. I have always been drawn to construction projects, the art of building, and specifically how people live in their home or workplace. After completing school at St. Joseph's Elementary School, Blanchet High School, and Gonzaga University, I moved overseas for 3 years to play professional basketball. In 1996, I moved back to Seattle, and began a 20-year career in the construction industry. I started as a project manager for a high-end custom remodeling company, then owned a house flipping business, and eventually became a General Contractor, helping homeowners turn their existing house into their dream home. Each and every experience of either developing my own investment property, or helping homeowner's ideas become a reality, provided me with a unique understanding of all facets of home-ownership. These experiences have dovetailed nicely into helping clients purchase and sell homes. I have a detailed understanding of costs associated with remodel projects, a keen eye for design possibilities, expansion concepts, and a broad based knowledge of the mechanical aspects related to homes. This knowledge has proven to be key in helping clients make astute decisions when contemplating taking on a "fixer" house, or just making sense of a home inspection report. I enjoy guiding clients through this process so they can make a sound financial decision. In 2016, I joined forces with my wife, Stephanie Stanford, and we created the Stanford Group at Keller Williams Real Estate. With her 19 years of experience as a Seattle area broker, and my 20 years of building/contracting experience we have combined our expertise to guide buyers and sellers through successful transactions. Fast forward to 2018, and we moved to Compass Real Estate where we have continued to build our processes and service to an award winning level. In addition to being a real estate broker, I have a variety of other interests as well.
