  Hello! My name is Matthew Blodgett. I currently work at Ameren as a Supply Chain Intelligence Analyst, where I perform duties as a Data Analyst while understanding the business of Supply Chain for regulated electric utilities. I perform many exciting tasks in my work, including advanced report building utilizing a large variety of tools, developing automations to reduce repetitive work, and creating dashboards and metrics so managers can measure the effectiveness of their teams and processes. The most exciting part of my current position is the fact I learn something new every day! Although that’s true in any job, this is especially the case in my current role because I work directly with Ameren’s Supply Chain organization utilizing my passion and affinity for technology to improve my organization. I recently graduated with a Master of Science in Data Analytics, furthering my analytics toolbox to include skills in data engineering and data science. Personally, my favorite part of my degree was learning about machine learning models and comparing each model’s efficacy against other models. I hope to utilize the new skills I acquired with my degree in the future! When I’m not working, I am usually listening to music, particularly new releases (message me if you want to discuss any new music release), playing grand strategy games, reading, learning about investing, running, and spending time with my Great Pyrenees-Australian Shepard mix (she looks like a German Shepard and has the personality of a 120% Golden Retriever) named Rayvn.
