Skills • Teamwork: Can follow or lead teams in projects • Statistical Methods: Business unit focal for training and best known methodson statistical approach. Work with engineering groups in a broad array of problems using appropriate methods to develop or improve technology • Lab experience: Optical labs, nuclear experiments, electronic devices, vacuum chambers, semiconductor lab work • Mathematica: Can program efficiently over a broad array of physics problems • MatLab: used image analysis package to model new edge-detection schemes and automated methods in image optimization • Solid Works: trained in one semester course, designed basic designs using 3-4 parts in an assembly • Microsoft Excel: Strong in VBA and excel spreadsheet analysis to include statistics, discrete element modelling, control system modelling, optimization problems in supply chains, and reliability analysis • Microsoft Word • Microsoft Powerpoint • Microsoft Access: used to access databases and combine data with meaningful connections, and then the database is published using Excel as the means to pull data. • SAS-JMP: business unit focal point for JMP training. Use most of JMP’s features, especially DOE, response surfaces, ANOVA, Gauge RR, SPC, and clustering • Relex: Use relex regularly to model and analyze product performance
