  I'm a computer programmer who has 15+ years experience professionally, and 25+ years personally. I have a strong drive to "build things" and I get super excited when learning new technologies. My first program (when I was 8) was a finite state machine written in BASIC, not to show my age or anything, heh. Yep! As a teen I quickly adopted the internet shortly after running my own BBS(trade wars! telnet! woo), and spent adolescence running websites, linux servers (LAMP LOVE lol), modding games and breaking operating systems and server configurations on a regular basis. ...but I fixed them too! My early adult life was spent solving problems dealing with databases and servers at work, and jumping to crazy math problems with game development at home. I even published/got sponsored from games I made with different languages. For the most part I've spent my life using C style languages (java, c#, php, javascript, etc) - but I am now really starting to get into ML languages (Elm, Haskell) but I gotta admit my FAVORITE LANGUAGE is JAVASCRIPT!
