  I am a documentary photgrapher, multimedia producer, and FAA Part 107 commercial drone pilot based in Richmond, VA. After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University with a B.A. in Political Science in 2012, my work in media began with 'RVA Green Space', a series created for WRIR Richmond Independent Radio that explored recreational infrastructure and green space in the city. From 2017-2018 I worked as an outdoor educator and backcountry guide in the Pacific Northwest before moving to New York City to study Documentary Practice and Visual Journalism at the International Center of Photography. In January 2020 I joined the NPR Science Desk as the Multimedia Intern, editing visuals for breaking and long-form stories during the first nine months of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
