I have a range of experience in different computer languages and technology stacks from a variety of software engineering positions. I've developed a range of applications including server side API's, single page front-end applications, resilient and long-running system services and Android applications. Over the course of my career, I've found communication one of the most important traits of an engineer. Being able to explain an issue or solution to both technical and non-technical staff is key to working in engineering role effectively. For this reason, I've joined a local Toastmasters group to improve my skills in both public and interpersonal communication. I've recently had more DevOps work in my current role and cannot describe how big the benefit is to my team and the company. When continuous integration is added as part of the development process it instills quality assurance right from the start and has allowed for faster, more reliable development throughout. In any future role, I will push for continuous integration and deployment the investment of time and effort ends up paying for itself many times over. I would only take on roles where I am tested to the fullest of my ability and give me the opportunity to learn. I enjoy solving problems and find my time best used in this way. Contino A Cognizant
