He was the Head of the String Department and served as the Dean of Students and as the Associate Music Director of the Academy Chamber Orchestra.Currenlty he is the Dean of Performing Arts and conducts the Jerusalem Conservatory Chamber Orchestra. Taught and conducted the chorus at the Israel Arts and Science Academy between 2004and 2010. Along with his academic commitments and performing engagements, and after being Music Director for seven years at MATAN (Arts and Culture Project for Youth) Dr. Klinghoffer still devotes much time and energy to working with young musicians from diverse backgrounds all over Israel.
