I finished my senior at Pine Rivers State High School, where I performed much more to my ability academically. I then attended the University of Queensland and completed my first degree in Agricultural Science, a research degree, with Honours. I became a genuine Christian at the end of the first year of my studies. I had no idea how radically my entire worldview was to altered. After graduating my from my first degree, I worked in my Church at the time as Youth Pastor. This inspired me to return to complete my Bachelor of Education. I entered teaching at Citipointe Christian College, where I worked for 9 years. During this time I was a Church Worship Leader, sang for commercials in regional Queensland, was a finalist in Tamworth's Star-Maker competition and second place as best new talent at the Gympie Country Music Muster. In 1999, I commenced at Northside Christian College, Brisbane, was the founding Head of Middle School before entering my present role as Academic Dean in the Secondary School. My wife of 16 years is also the Head of the Social Sciences here, where our four children also attend. Our faith in, and thanks to God, are never far from our household. Northside Christian College
