A third strength I possess is my ability to consistently excel no matter what role I’m placed in. I have led a branch to the Top 10% in the country and coached an average-performing banker to become a top-10% producer companywide, and my branch received recognition as the #4 branch in the country. What’s my secret sauce? I think it’s the fact that I focus equally on achieving exceptional bottom-line results and creating an environment that breeds both personal and professional success. In my first year as a branch bank manager, I met a customer who had flown under the radar screen for some time. After getting to know him, I found out he was worth well over 15M! The lesson I learned from that relationship was that I wanted to get to know all my customers—whether they had 100 or 15M in our bank. I’ve managed to bring a small-town bank feel to my branch, which is part of the largest bank in the country. I’ve shared this philosophy with my staff, and now everyone treats their customers like family. This is how we became the #4 branch in the country and received national recognition.
