Michaela Grimshaw’s Expertise Codelocks is an innovative designer and manufacturer of electronic and mechanical push button locks for doors, cabinets and lockers and I have recently joined their Marketing team! My main focus is on the below duties; • Strategic planning, co-ordinating and managing marketing campaigns across a variety of platforms including collateral, direct mail, email, search (SEO), social media, website and paid advertising (including PPC). • Managing the creation and implementation of CRM and email strategy; using creative and content led strategies and plans. • Creating engaging, tailored content; promoting products and solutions to multiple audiences. • Monthly reporting of KPI’s and making recommendations on product and campaign strategies to fulfil business objectives. • Analysing email campaign and paid advertising content to result in higher lead generation, conversion rates and subscriber engagement. • Working with third parties to facilitate business results; including external designers, data research companies, printers and email database providers. Manage and develop marketing campaigns for various Brands, ranging from Insurance Brokers to the leisure industry. My main duties included: - Meet with clients to determine the brief for their brand such as their ‘Voice’ and the audience they would like to target. It was important to understand what they would like to achieve through marketing to give their campaign structure. - Devise a comprehensive marketing campaign in line with the brief and present to client - Regularly create and source content to post on various Social Media platforms for various brands - Monitor industry forums to stay up to date with news and events, by conducting due diligence it allows me to identify opportunities in the market to target. - Design and construct mailers using MailChimp, these were used for anything from a monthly newsletter to targeting prospects to generate new business. - Write and produce original content for Blogs to be published on websites and Social Media. - Use Adobe Indesign and Adobe Illustrator to design logos, brochures and other literature for events and client use. - Produce an extensive analytic report including Google, Facebook and Twitter analytics, which is then sent to clients on a monthly basis. The analytic report also consists of a detailed written analysis of the data provided, taking into account both internal and external factors such as change in legislation, new product or modified company structure. Unfortunately, I was made redundant from this role and was forced to seek alternative employment.In addition to Rope-Sure I also looked after our TenantDeposit.com scheme. TenantDeposit.com is a Zero Deposit Bond scheme that was developed to offer an alternative to a Tenant putting down a full deposit for a rented property. Through TenantDeposit.com a tenant is able to set up an agreement whereby there pay us a monthly fee and we guarantee their deposit for the Landlord. Any claims for the deposit from the Landlord would then go through TenantDeposit.com and an adjudication process would take place. M&P Insurance Solutions inherited this scheme from another Broker with effect 1st November 2014. I was involved in the project management of the handover process which included the following; - Notifying tenants, landlords and estate agents - Updating website to include M&P's contact details - Consulting with payment providers to ensure that merchant account details were set up and transferred - Hosting and attending conference calls with Insurers and other parties involved - Flying to Gibraltar to negotiate and devise processes with the Insurers which would be adhered to - Managing expectations of all those involved TenantDeposit.com is now in run off so I am responsible for the day- to-day management of the scheme, servicing existing clients, producing four different bordereaux on a monthly basis, updating payment details and processing and adjudicating claims as and when they arise.Rope-Sure is a liability scheme for rope access technicians, the schemes consists of two main products; * Rope-Sure 5: This product is suitable for sole traders and companies up to five full time employees as it is rated on a per capita basis. * Rope-Sure +: This product is suitable for the bigger companies looking to use a variety of subcontractors and full time manual staff, this product is rated on a turnover/wage roll basis. My responsibilities with regard to our Rope-Sure scheme is to handle the day to day management, new business prospects, servicing of existing clients, renewals and producing monthly bordereaux to be submitted to Insurers. I also closely monitored our website traffic and created a monthly Google Analytic report. To give more of an insight into the reasoning behind peaks and drops in traffic I conducted research within various rope access industry forums, this gave me an invaluable insight into the rope access industry. Through this research I have been fortunate to attend IRATA RAC (Regional Advisory Committee) Meetings and I have presented to IRATA members about Rope-Sure and our offerings. I have also developed New Business strategy plans, produced training documents and conducted training for other members of M&P to give them the confidence and knowledge to generate leads. In addition to this I have also been involved with the development of new products and the negotiation of rates with Insurers on existing products.In addition to my duties and responsibilities below managing our two schemes, I am also responsible for my own book of commercial clients. My book consists of a wide variety of commercial businesses encompassing a range of policies varying from Professional Indemnity, Commercial Combined, Directors & Officers etc. I am the first point of contact for my clients and I provide a high level of customer service at all times. I deal with the renewal of all my existing clients which includes either a client visit/phone call to asses their needs, followed by a market review which involves approaching various insurers for terms. Once appropriate terms have been obtained, I then present these terms to the client along with my suitability statement and recommendation. In addition to my renewals, I also try to identify opportunities for cross sales to grow my book of business.This was my first role at M&P, I joined as a Lead Generation Executive for the Motor Fleet New Business Team. The New Business team have a massive focus on Self Drive Hire and Taxi Fleet as we have excellent product offerings with many benefits for SDH and Taxi clients. Within this role my main duties were; - Make a number of outbound calls per day to speak to potential clients about their fleet insurance - Qualify leads to ensure they meet the correct criteria and book meetings for the New Business Executives to go out and visit them. - Provide administrative support to the New Business Executives with regard to presentations, fleet lists, invoicing, payment taking etc. This role provided me with a good foundation of insurance knowledge which has then allowed me to progress further within the industry.
