He worked in Singapore for a period of 3 years where he led and managed a number of projects. Mitchell is a leading specialist in long span roof design as well as parametric design and optimisation workflows. He has worked on Anna Meares Velodrome with a clear roof span of 120m and is now currently the structural lead for Christchurch Multiuse Arena with a clear roof span of over 175x210m, with the latter being one of the largest clear spanning enclosed roof structures in the AUS/NZ region. In his professional career, Mitchell has been exposed to all stages of project delivery, from competition phase, all the way to completion. Mitchell has significant expertise in the following areas: - Parametric Design, Automation and Digital Workflows including Geometry Creation, Automation of Analysis and Documentation/BIM Models etc - Tall Buildings - Long Span Roofs - Complex Concrete Forms - Precast Concrete - Vibration and Dynamics - Bespoke Steel Connection Design - Thorough understanding of Australian, British and Eurocodes (including SG NA). Also has experience with New Zealand, Canadian and American Codes.
