term with unit constraints (Total savings of $1M) -Created and presented daily morning reports that summarize hourly plant behavior from previous day to identify opportunities to alter market offer for the next day -Completed follow-up actions by communicating with the plant and operations center to assist in updating the market offer for the next day (Total savings of $100K) -Evaluated historical sub-optimal constraint scheduling to find associated savings of $50K/month if constraints were scheduled during off-peak periods -Created automated excel timeline based on date inputs to showcase the current status of cases filed with the MPSC -Assisted in training and teaching new round of co-ops the wholesale electricity market and completing daily activities -Created and sent weekly energy forecast reports to MPSC -Hosted floor-wide Information Sharing meetings as a part of the department's continuous improvement initiatives. -Utilized Creo Parametric CAD software to re-design a part on a current stroller line after assessing multiple customer complaints about difficulty in canopy assembly -Communicated design changes to China manufacturing plant for production changes -Utilized 3D printing to prototype my CAD designs to attach a swing on a stroller as a part of the Swing & Stroller -Helped brainstorm and prototype ideas at the Pennsylvania branch to fix a stroller fold mechanism for future safety compliance. -Performed multiple special study analyses to assess the value of low coal inventory issues across fleet -Analyzed process of calculating stack for an interruptible customer and created a timeline to show there can be a 2 day reduction in process time and $200K in savings by altering process -Developed a huddle board to showcase metrics and process maps -Created excel tool to automatically organize raw data and create reports for monthly checkout process -Created Microsoft Visio process maps and instruction manuals on how to complete various processes in Wholesale Power department -Registered MIRECS projects to earn renewable credits for solar and wind generation -Member of DTE Green Team to promote renewable efforts in the local community. -Analyzed customer quotation model to find gaps in part pricing according to part characteristics and manufacturing methods -Discovered opportunities for altering the quoted prices on
