Before that, He worked with NHM, Bihar. Where he looked after the health system strengthening, hospital administration, public health, and quality assurance programs. For his work, he has been awarded many reputed awards. He has extensive experience in public health, policy strategizing, designing large-scale implementation processes, leading the multi-sectoral coalition, implementing public health programs, and supervising multi-disciplinary teams. Apart from this Nishant has a great interest in academic work.
