  Hello! I am a dedicated and passionate graduate from the University of California Santa Cruz. I graduated with a B.S. degree in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology. I was awarded Dean’s Honors and was placed on the Dean’s list after receiving a 3.93 my 2018 Spring Quarter. I graduated from Foothill High School, where I was active in extracurricular activities such as sports (golf), music (marching band, wind ensemble, jazz band), Boy Scouts, and clubs (NHS, Unicef). My senior year I raised over 8000 for my High school band by organizing fundraisers and solo concerts. I am a hard working individual who prides himself on perfection and I like to get the job done in the most efficient way possible. I am driven by success and believe that in order to get ahead, one must be able to look at his or her mistakes, understand what went wrong, and learn how to fix and prevent that mistake for the future. I believe time management is a very important quality to have as an employee and I'd like to consider myself as someone that knows how to delegate his time efficiently and knows how to prioritize work and tasks when there are multiple things that need to be done. I am a quick learner and I try to soak up as much information as possible about a job/task that I am doing and the field of study that I am working in. Ever since high school, I have known that science is my passion. I love having the ability to experiment with different chemicals and organisms and discovering new findings that can benefit the scientific community. While at university, I worked in chemistry, organic chemistry, molecular biology, and microbiology labs (BSL-2), and was able to hone in on my laboratory skills by performing various laboratory techniques and assays. I'm very interested in learning and gaining experience in medical drug development and discovering the endless possibilities of using beneficial microorganisms in disease treatment. After working for a few years and/or gaining more experience and hands on knowledge, I plan on going back to school to obtain my PhD in Microbiology and Toxicology, Microbial Biology and Pathogenesis, or Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology. Another education route that I have I also have in mind is applying to veterinary school. For the past year I've been working at a veterinary hospital gaining experience in animal care and medicine.
